Elizabeth McBeth is the co-founder and Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of TMGI, LLC dba The McBeth Group International.She brings 24 years of business experience to the firm.A former tax accountant at the firm of Engleberg and Lavine, LLP in La Jolla, California, she went on to become the CFO at Hugh M. Saddington & Company, an accounting firm in Irvine, California.In 1994, she joined Mattress Discounters and Magnate Management, a retail conglomerate in the home furnishing industry, in Virginia Beach, Virginia, as CFO and Vice President of Finance where she remained for 14 years. Liz attended the University of Washington, Seattle, Washington. In 1984, she received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting.The Idaho Player of the Year in high school basketball and a two-time state champion, she went on to be a four-year starter and Captain of the University of Washington Women's Basketball team where she continues to hold several records, most notably, the single season record for blocked shots (74) and career blocked shots (144).In 1988, she followed out a childhood dream when she played professional basketball overseas in Sweden. In 2006, she was an Idaho "Legends of the Game" Hall of Fame inductee.
A staunch advocate and fund raiser for pancreatic cancer research, she is a member of the board of the Seena Magowitz Foundation and serves as the Tournament Director for the Seena Magowitz Celebrity Golf Classic, hosted annually in Scottsdale, Arizona.
